Valtteri Bottas bring the Disco Vibes
While the famous Finn was still a full decade away from being born, he’s taken to one particular part of the `70s aesthetic like a budgie to a smuggler. And in tribute to his business-at-the-front, party-at-the-back vibe, Canyon has developed a limited-edition Valtteri Bottas Grail CFR, a bike that celebrates the F1 star’s favourite 77 race number and just so happens to be one of the peak years of disco.
Aero-optimized gravel race frame
Canyon’s top-of-the-line aero-optimized gravel race frame is built for speed and comfort over long distances, featuring seat stays that connect to the top tube to adsorb more vibrations and an integrated LOAD down tube storage hatch to stash tools, tubes and the odd disco biscuit.
The Valtteri moustache
As the spotlights pick out the mirrored details on the frame, we’re even treated to a little Easter egg. Canyon designer Lukas Beck has adapted Canyon’s famous mountain headtube icon to resemble Valtteri’s famous facial hair. A fitting tribute to a man who is carving out a unique identity in the bike world.

Offering resilient, precise, light and fast wireless shifting, RED XPLR AXS eschews a front derailleur in favour of a wide ranging 1x13 cassette. Paired with a UDH interface and full mount rear derailleur, the system is fit for tackling any type of dancefloor.
Zipp 303 XPLR
The bike rolls on Zipp 303 XPLR wheels with 54 mm deep and ultra-wide 32 mm rims that’ll even give Valtteri’s flares a run for their money.

Finished with Canyon’s adaptable CP0047 Gear Groove Pro cockpit, wrapped in Canyon Ergospeed Gel bar tape, and a Canyon SP009-01 seatpost with Fizik Vento saddle, there are only 100 of these limited-edition dazzling Grails out there.
