Warranty Info

What is a warranty?

A 2 year warranty covers Canyon engineered parts such as the frame, forks, cockpit and seatpost. It starts the day the bike is delivered to the first owner.

Parts from original component manufacturers, for example DT Swiss, are also covered for a minimum of two years unless stated otherwise. The warranty only covers material and processing defects that already existed on delivery.

The warranty is linked to the bike, not the owner. That means if you’ve bought the bike second hand and it’s less than 2 years old, you can still make a claim. Although we may ask you for proof of purchase.

What is a guarantee?

The 6 year guarantee covers Canyon engineered parts such as frame, forks, cockpits and seatposts. It starts the day the bike is delivered and runs alongside the warranty. It doesn’t apply to third party components.

The guarantee only covers material and processing defects that already existed on delivery. It is only available to the original owner of the bike and cannot be transferred. If replacement parts aren’t available in your original colour you will be offered an alternative.

Crash Replacement Info

What is a crash replacement?

In the unfortunate case of a crash or accidental impact, forces exerted on the frame or components can lead to structural failure.

Crash Replacement allows you to replace damaged Canyon branded parts such as your frame, fork or components at a reduced cost. We can even swap everything over and service your bike here at Canyoncafe.

Crash replacement is a voluntary service provided by Canyon Bicycles to help replace damaged parts after an accident. It isn’t available for third party components and we cannot guarantee there will always be replacement parts available in identical colours.

How does it work?

What do we need from you to handle your request?

Send us a description of the damage, the serial number of the bike, photos of the damaged area, all four sides of the bike and your contact details via email.

Canyon Bicycles will check everything over and will get back to us with a quote to replace any damaged parts.

Once Canyon Bicycles and you, our customer, confirm the process, we will order the replacement parts. Any damaged parts being replaced need to be sent to Canyoncafe before the replacements can be dispatched.

Our workshop can also provide you with a quote to swap the damaged parts and service your bike.
