We’ve completely redesigned the cockpit for this new-generation Aeroad. Comfort and speed up front have never been more intuitive – just reach out and take control.

 

PACE is adjustable

Our new Performance Adaptive Cockpit Ecosystem (PACE) is built for customization. You can adjust your cockpit’s width by 50 mm across three distinct positions and fine-tune the height by 20 mm (up from 15 mm) in precise 5 mm increments. This ensures a perfectly dialed-in setup for your needs, optimizing aerodynamics to conquer the South African roads.

 

PACE is modular

PACE isn’t just adjustable – it’s modular. The T-bar features interchangeable drops that can be swapped in minutes without disconnecting brake lines or re-bleeding brakes.

The new PACE system also introduces Gear Groove – a rock-solid mounting interface for accessories like computer mounts and aero extensions, with even more gear options on the horizon.

 

Two distinct drop options

Classic Drops – Balanced Geometry

Slightly narrower than previous Aeroad models, Classic Drops deliver the perfect mix of speed and balance. These come as standard on all new Aeroad models, featuring:

• A 130 mm drop with minimal flare for a conventional feel
• 20 mm of height adjustment via improved spacer aerodynamics
• 25 mm width adjustment in either direction for a tailored fit

Aero Drops – Flared and Fast

For racers chasing maximum aerodynamic gains, we’ve developed the Aero Drops –an aggressive, high-performance option designed for leadout speed and control.

The Aero Drops offer:

• A 20 mm narrower centre-to-centre width at the shifters, expanding outward at the drops for increased leverage while sprinting
• A 19° progressive flare, optimizing handling and aerodynamics
• A reduced 105 mm drop for easier low positioning
• 10 mm additional reach to compensate for the narrower width

In wind tunnel and track testing, riders maintaining an aggressive leadout position on the hoods saw up to 14 watts saved compared to the already fast Classic Drops.
