What is the Garden Route Giro?

from 13-18 April 2026, the world’s best gravel riders will head to South Africa’s Western Cape for the Garden Route Giro — a six-day stage race that’s set to raise the bar for gravel adventures.

The route runs from the rugged coastline of Mossel Bay to the lush forests of Wilderness, taking in some of the most varied and spectacular landscapes you’ll ever ride. That's why it is more than just a race, it's an an epic journey through coastline, mountains, valleys, and the wide-open Karoo.

Over six days and 684 kilometers, riders will tackle big climbs, fast gravel sections, and constantly changing terrain — all surrounded by scenery that'll make every tough stretch worth it.
